Mahasabha president Ashok Haranahalli said that the 50th convention of Akhil Karnataka Brahmana Samaj is being celebrated in a meaningful manner in Bengaluru on January 18 and 19 in the presence of all the swamijis of the Samaj.
He was speaking after presiding over a meeting of leaders of various Brahmin societies in the district at a private hotel in connection with the Vishwamitra Brahmana Mahasammelan.

The samavesh is being held at the Tripuravasini Hall at the Palace Grounds in Bengaluru and is an attempt to bring all the pontiffs of the Brahmin community on one platform.
Everyone agreed to attend the meeting.
The aim of the samavesh is to preserve culture, tradition, traditions of the country.
Senior leaders of the Brahmin community will participate in the meeting.


The border district of Belgaum in the state, the Brahmin Samaj organization is working effectively in the entire state and it is from here that we got inspiration for the conference in Bengaluru.
The members of the Brahmin community are at the forefront of business, trade, politics, economics, education and agriculture.
He appealed to the people to come in large numbers from different parts of the district.
Sri Subudhendra Swami of Ragavendra Swamy Mutt Mantralaya, Vishwesh Teertha Swami of Pejawar Mutt, Sri Vidyavaridi Teertha Swami of Kanva Mutt, Sri Vidyaranya Bharati Swami of Vidyaranya Mutt, Hampi, were present.
Religious discourses, cultural programmes, debates and debates will be held as part of the celebrations. He said that on the other side of the conference, a business and trade conference, a brides-to-be meet, district-level cultural programmes would be organised.
