Three Individuals, Including Minister Satish Jarkiholi, to Receive Honorary Doctorate Degrees

Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) will confer honorary doctorate degrees on three distinguished individuals, including the state’s Minister for Public Works, Satish L. Jarkiholi.
Among the recipients are C.M. Irfanulla Shariff, Chairman of Ideal Education Society, and Dr. Dakshayini S. Appa, Chairman of the Sharana Basaveshwara Vidya Vardhaka Sangha in Kalaburagi.
These honorary doctorate degrees will be awarded during KSOU’s 20th annual convocation.
Karnataka Governor and Chancellor of KSOU, Thawar Chand Gehlot, has approved the decision to confer these degrees. The Governor’s Deputy Secretary, B.B. Prashanth Kumar, formally communicated this approval to the Vice-Chancellor of KSOU through an official letter dated March 13, 2025.
