“Siddu Government’s ‘Negligence’! 11 Lives Lost, Yet Zero Conscience!”
A bloodstained response from the Congress government to the RCB victory celebration.
When Yogi visits the bereaved families in Prayagraj, CM Siddaramaiah stands far away and plays the ‘comparison’ game in Karnataka – a testament to the bankruptcy of compassion.
The Moral Bankruptcy of the Siddaramaiah Government:
The CM’s own arguments are proof enough!

Bengaluru:
The horrifying stampede that occurred during the celebratory parade of RCB’s championship win has left a dark stain on the hearts of Karnataka’s people. Six lives were lost tragically, many others were injured. However, the apathy, lack of accountability, and the self-defensive rhetoric displayed by the Congress government under the leadership of CM Siddaramaiah reveal a bitter truth: For this government, humanity and conscience are mere namesake values.

CM’s words are evidence of guilt:
An irrelevant reference to “Prayagraj”
The CM himself is proof that the government failed to understand the gravity of the incident. When asked why IPS officer Dayanand, who was directly responsible, was suspended and whether he alone was to blame, the CM had no convincing explanation. Instead, he attempted to compare this tragic incident to the Prayagraj stampede in Uttar Pradesh—a completely misplaced and illogical analogy.

After the Prayagraj incident, CM Yogi Adityanath had personally rushed to the scene, met the bereaved families in person, expressed sympathy, offered condolences, and even said, “It was our mistake, forgive us.” It was a compassionate response from the leadership.

The Humanitarian Failure of the Karnataka Government:
Not a single top official has visited the families!
It appears the government doesn’t even know where the families of the RCB tragedy victims live. Even after a week, neither CM Siddaramaiah, nor the Home Minister, nor any senior government representative has visited these grieving families to express solidarity or convey the government’s commitment. Ministers are only seen attending publicity events. (Ebelagavi)

It is evident that the CM’s rare comments about the incident were made only under media pressure. Why did the CM lose his temper when journalists questioned him further?
Who invited the Governor?
Who publicly invited fans to the stadium in front of the media?

Is suspension enough? Where is the full investigation and accountability? (Ebelagavi)
The suspension of IPS Dayanand is nothing more than a token gesture. But the real questions go deeper:
Who is responsible for the massive security failure that led to the incident?
Who gave permission for such a large gathering without verifying safety measures or heeding warning signs – is political interference involved?
When will a thorough and independent investigation be conducted?
The CM’s reference to “Prayagraj” and his tendency to dodge direct questions, along with the government’s indifference to the grieving families, strongly suggest a strategy to deflect blame and downplay the seriousness of the incident. This is a clear display of irresponsibility by the CM and the Congress government, at the cost of people’s suffering. (Ebelagavi)
Politics Over Humanity
The RCB stampede and the government’s response thereafter paint a grim picture of how legal and humanitarian values are sacrificed for political calculations in Karnataka. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah may try to protect himself with his defensive arguments, but in the face of the loss of 11 innocent lives and the immense sorrow of their families, all such self-protection attempts remain as evidence of a complete lack of conscience.
The absence of even the minimum expected humanitarian response from the government is yet another bitter lesson for the people of this state. (Ebelagavi)
