Construction of Anagol 4th Underpass Begins
Traffic Diversion Notification Issued for the Public
Belagavi, June 18:
The construction work for the 4th Railway Underpass at Anagol is set to commence from June 20 and will continue for approximately one year, until June 19, 2026. To ensure smooth vehicular movement during the construction period, Belagavi City Police Commissioner has announced alternative traffic routes for the public.
The alternative traffic routes are as follows:
🔸 For vehicles traveling from Anagol towards BEMCO:
Vehicles must take the route via Anagol → D.V.S. Chowk → Harimandir Road → Anagol Naka → 3rd Railway Gate Overbridge → Khanapur Road.
🔸 For vehicles coming from Khanapur side towards Anagol:
The designated route is BEMCO Circle → 3rd Railway Gate Overbridge → Anagol Naka → Harimandir Road → Anagol.
A press release from the Belagavi City Police Commissioner has urged the public to strictly follow these designated alternative routes and to cooperate for the successful execution of the project.
