The city corporation commissioner has issued a show-cause notice to five people, including the deputy commissioner ( revenue) of the city corporation, who have taken the complaints from the public seriously in order to remove the stubbornness in the administration.
The notices were issued toBCC Deputy Commissioner revenue Reshma Talikoti, office assistant Priyanka, Office Manager Meenakshi Thogari, subject manager Mruthyunjaya Malagimani and first division clerk Mallik Gundappannavar..


According to the notice, the private educational institutions have written letters to pay property tax for 2022-23, 2023-24 and 2024-25, but no action has been taken.
Deputy Commissioner Mohammed Roshan and CITY CORPORATION Commissioner Shubha had examined the documents in this regard and asked the concerned to issue challans immediately.
But despite all this, the public complained to the commissioner about the corporation revenue branch wandering around for weeks and finally issuing a challan. The complaint was brought to the notice of Shalini Rajneesh. Chief secretary govt of Karnataka.

Taking a serious view of the whole matter, the CORPORATION Commissioner has been instructed to submit his statement immediately in this regard, failing which a report will be submitted to the competent authority for immediate action.

Another Notice
The commissioner has issued a separate show-cause notice to Malik Gundappannavar. FDC. In the notice, the reason for the delay in issuing Form-2 in the e-property software has been mentioned.
The last On the 5th, people complained that the public had met me personally and kept me , for two months without disposing of the applications, they were warned about this, but still complaints are being heard against them.
The notice issued by the Commissioner states that prima facie it appears that there is negligence and irresponsibility on their part in this matter, therefore, they have been instructed to submit their statement in person with appropriate reasons for this delay and disobedience, failing which appropriate action will be taken against them as per the provisions of KCSR and CCA.”
