Kannada Essence Spreading Silently in the corporation …!

If officials use a little wisdom, here is a great example of how Kannada can be promoted in the border city of Belagavi and how non-Kannadigas can embrace it.
Naturally, when people hear about the Belagavi City Corporation, their perception is different. And when discussions arise, the dominant voices often demand that records be provided in Marathi.
However, amidst all this noise and confusion, Belagavi City Commissioner Shubha B. has been silently spreading the essence of Kannada, but no one has noticed.
As per the directives of the state government, the E-Khata campaign has been launched at Kumar Gandharva Auditorium near the Belagavi City Corporation. District in-charge minister Satish Jarkiholi inaugurated this initiative recently.
Through the “E-Aasthi” software, the process of issuing E-Khata is being carried out. If the city corporation commissioner had issued these E-Khata records on plain white paper, it wouldn’t have been a big deal.
But for the first time in any city corporation in the state, these records are being issued on papers in the colors of the Kannada flag—yellow and red.
