Belagavi: A love story that once echoed with promises has now taken a tragic turn, entangled in murder and suicide. What was initially believed to be a case of a lover killing his beloved before taking his own life has now taken a new twist, as the young man’s family raises serious allegations and protests.
Following the horrific incident near Nath Pai Circle in Shahapur, the deceased young man’s family staged a heated protest, claiming that their son, Prashant Yellappa Kundekar (29), had not committed suicide but was, in fact, murdered.
“My son did not take his own life; he was brutally murdered!” the grieving mother cried out.
“He was lured under threats, called to the location, and then killed!” the family accused.
They also expressed their anger over social media posts tarnishing their son’s reputation. “False accusations have been made against him!” they declared.
