On the auspicious occasion of the Holi festival, a long-pending demand of the residents of Ward 46 – Ramteerth Nagar in Belagavi has finally been fulfilled. The Belagavi City Corporation (BCC) and the Belagavi Urban Development Authority (BUDA) have jointly approved major development works in the area, which will commence soon.
A joint meeting was held under the leadership of Municipal Commissioner Smt. Shubha B., BUDA Commissioner Shri Shakeel Ahmed, and City Corporator Shri Hanamant Kongali, during which the process of bringing Ramteerth Nagar under the jurisdiction of the city corporation was officially approved.
₹25 Crore Development Works Approved
In this meeting, development projects worth ₹25 crore were sanctioned, which include: ✔ Road and drainage construction ✔ Park and garden development ✔ Approval for A and B Khata (E-property registration) ✔ Approval for L&T’s 24×7 drinking water supply project
The meeting was attended by BUDA officials S.C. Nayak, Basavaraj Hiremath, Smt. Manjushree, Prasanna, and City Corporation officials Deshpande, Ankit, Kerur, and Sunil.
