A delegation of BJP corporators of the city corporation has demanded action against those who tore down the welcome banners put up for the famous Sri Mangai fair in the city.
The delegation, led by Mayor Mangesh Pawar, Deputy Mayor Vani Joshi, and ruling party leader Hanumant Kongali, submitted a memorandum to Police Commissioner Bhushan Gulabrao Borase.
The delegation stated that such miscreants are disturbing the peace during the fair by indulging in such acts, and therefore, they must be identified and punished.
The Commissioner assured that necessary action would be taken in this regard.
Girish Dhongadi, Jayant Jadhav, and others were present on the occasion.
